Now, the story...

This boots were given to us by an amazing photographer Tiziano Magni. He was given the boots by Joseph Carle who was an editor and stylist at French Elle, then worked at Kenzo and then became the editor of Numero Japan. The boots were given to Joseph specifically for Tiziano for him to shoot by the Louboutin office There were a sample that was made and the first ones to be produced for a specific buyer.

When Tiziano gave us there boots he told this story...

This story was told directly to Tiziano from Christian Louboutin at a dinner party:

“One day Christian was in Vigevano, Iatly where they were originally producing his shoes. He saw a sample that he didn’t like and was getting nervous about how the shoes were going to look. He was annoyed and complaining to his assistant who had no care in the world and was painting her nails red. He grabbed the red nail polish and he started painting the bottom of the shoes. That was how the red Bottoms came to be."
